All-District picks for both Class 2, District 6, won by the Milan boys and Scotland County girls, and Class 1, District 12, claimed by the Green City girls and Meadville boys, have been announced.
From the District 6 champion Milan Wildcats, named All-District were seniors Ryan Dabney and Hunter Shaw, along with senior Eddie Gonzalez. Marceline’s Luke Abeln and Putnam County’s Kelton Bain were also among those named, in addition to three members of runner-up Westran (Trey Burton, David Dale, and Karter Koenig), Salisbury’s Jackson King, and Knox County’s Connor Hayes. Milan boys basketball coach Andrea Dabney was named All-District Coach of the Year.
Among those named to the Class 2, District 6 girls squad are Milan’s Cady Pauley and Tahli Gray, along with Marceline’s Kenzie Stahl and Putnam County’s Claire Tipton.
