Northwest Missouri State will return to Arrowhead Stadium this fall, playing longtime conference rival Central Missouri on Saturday, October 1st at 5 PM.  The 5 o’clock start time was chosen to work with the 6:15 start time for the Kansas City Royals, who will be hosting the Cleveland Indians that evening next-door at Kauffman Stadium.

The Bearcats are familiar with the “Home of Chiefs”, playing Pittsburg State at the Kansas City stadium for 12 meetings, nine of those won by Northwest.  In final game in the Arrowhead series was 2013, when the Bearcats downed the Gorillas 24-15 in front of 17,369 spectators.

Details regarding tickets, tailgating  and other fan information will be provided at a later date on BearcatSports.com as well as on athletics and Northwest Missouri State’s social media channels.

Northwest’s five-game home slate begins Thursday, Sept. 8, at 7 p.m. against Washburn University.
