Trenton High School and Princeton High School’s golf teams battled one another on Tuesday afternoon at Riverside Country Club in Trenton, with scores from all eight of the competitors ranging from 62 to 74, has the host Lady Bulldogs had five golfers, with Princeton bringing three, to the course.
Trenton senior Josie Chumbley and freshman Reece Weldon shared medalist honors with matching scores of 27-over-par 62 on the par-35 nine-hole course. Shooting 65 were Trenton’s Mari Atup and Princeton’s Riley Moreno.
At the 66 mark was Trenton’s Morgan Brown, with Princeton’s Cheyenne Dinsmore at 67 and Labrina Templeton 68. Shooting 74 for the Lady Bulldogs was Sofia Currie.
