Croy shoots 36, winning medalist honors at Lawson golf triangular

The Trenton Bulldogs and Richmond Spartans traveled to Lawson’s Hidden Valley Golf Course on Wednesday afternoon, playing a nine-hole triangular.  The Bulldogs senior leader, Lathan Croy, shot a strong round of even-par 36 to win medalist honors by four strokes over Richmond’s Austin Bowman.

Richmond’s balance was enough to win the team competition, 171-172 against Lawson.  Trenton’s score was 191.

In addition to Croy’s 36, other scores for the Bulldogs were 49 for Mason Owen, 52 from Gavin Roeder, 54 for Lucas Clark, and a 59 shot by Max McNabb.

All five scores from Richmond were in the 40’s, with Bowman at 40, Dom Cravens 41, 45’s for Timmy Hamilton and Tyler Pyche, and 47 from C.J. Dana.  

For the host Cardinals, Jack Evans and Tyson Cress both shot 41, Jayson Schmitz 44, Justin Briggs 46, and Nate Rezen 52.
