Jakeenan Gant, one of many players over the past two seasons to join, and then transfer out, of Kim Anderson’s basketball program at Missouri, has landed at Louisiana-Lafayette.
Gant, a top 50 recruit for Missouri in 2014, coming out of Effingham, Georgia, disappointed during his time in Columbia. In his sophomore season, Gant only averaged 5.1 points and 3.8 rebounds per game, in 15 minutes of action.
With the Ragin’ Cajuns, Gant will be eligible to play in the 2017-18 season, and will have two seasons of eligibility remaining.
