The Grand River Conference Eastern Division basketball coaches met in Trenton on Friday morning to decide on All-Conference honors prior to the start of postseason play this weekend.
Six young ladies were named to the GRC East First Team, all by unanimous fashion, with that group made up of Milan senior Cady Pauley, Trenton freshman Mirena King, Princeton freshman Addy Henke and senior Lauren Krohn, Polo senior Mary Copeland, and South Harrison sophomore Hannah Carter.
Seven boys were named GRC East first team selections, with five named unanimously, in the Gallatin tandem of Isaac Bird and Payton Feiden, the Putnam County duo of Landon Wood and Zach Heidenwith, along with Princeton sophomore Talan Holt. Two others named first-teamers were Milan senior Chekh Niasse and Maysville senior Logan Kimbrell.
