The Chillicothe girls held Trenton to just 12 points, while the Hornet boys pulled away from the Bulldogs over the final three quarters, as part of a doubleheader sweep for CHS on Friday night from the THS gymnasium.
The Lady Hornets picked up 14 points from William Jewell signee Jolie Bonderer and 11 from North Central Missouri College signee Kayanna Cranmer, while Lyla Beetsma added 10. CHS, with a Savannah Tournament championship already on its resume, improved to 5-0 with a 51-12 win.

Chillicothe’s boys improved to 3-2 with a 63-40 victory at Trenton. Soljier Allen had 20 points for CHS, with James Mathew adding 15, and Jackson Trout 10 points. Kiefer Tolson had a game-high 21 points for Trenton. The Bulldogs are now 3-4 on the season.
Trenton will open Grand River Conference play on Friday night (December 15th), traveling to Bethany to play the South Harrison Bulldogs in doubleheader action on KGOZ FM 101.7.
