Lady Pirates add Richmond’s McBee to ’19-’20 roster

Women's Basketball

Following a rare losing season for the North Central Missouri College women’s basketball program, Head Coach Jenni Croy and Assistant Lesli Collins continue to reload the cupboard for the program, adding a talented student-athlete from the Missouri River Valley Conference.

The fifth recruit to sign with NCMC for the 2019-2020 basketball season is McKenzie McBee of Richmond High School.  As a senior, McBee, a forward/center for the Lady Spartans, played a standout role for RHS, averaging 16.3 points and 9.7 rebounds per game, finishing her career just four points (996) short of the 1,000 plateau.

Her performance on the court earned McBee both first-team All-District and All-MRVC status.  She joins a Lady Pirate recruiting class that already boasts a rugged front-court presence in Chillicothe’s Kennedie Kieffer, in addition to Stanberry’s high-scoring shooting guard Lily Osborn, Northeast of Cairo’s Kayla Koester, and Gallatin’s athletic forward in Kelsey Maxwell.
