The late season swoon of the Missouri Tigers continued on Saturday, with the home team’s inability to slow LSU proving costly, in an 86-80 loss at Mizzou Arena in Columbia.
Dru Smith led Missouri with 17 points, with Xavier Pinson adding 14, and Kobe Brown 11 points and 10 rebounds.
The loss drops Mizzou to a #7 seed in this week’s Southeastern Conference tournament in Nashville. In a second-round duel, the Tigers will take on #7 seed Georgia on Thursday night at 6 o’clock, with pregame at 5:30 on KTTN FM 92.3.
