Maryville defeats Chillicothe to win golf invite, Trenton finishes 8th

The Maryville Spoofhounds, with a team score of 312, upended Chillicothe’s runner-up tally of 323 and third-place South Harrison’s 332, in Wednesday’s Chillicothe Invitational golf tournament at the Green  Hills Course.  Hagen Ritter of Macon High School shot 70 to win medalist honors, with Brady Stice of Cameron in second place at 71, followed by South Harrison’s Caden Littrell with a third-round round of 73.

Trenton High School had a team score of 362, finishing two shots behind 7th place Macon in the 12-team tournament.  Trenton’s top scores were a 9th place 77 from Riley Gott, with Kiefer Tolson shooting 84, good for 23rd place.
