The Mercer Cardinals swept the championship games of the South Harrison Tournament last Friday, winning the titles with three victories in as many games at Bethany. The #2 ranked Lady Cardinals and a Mercer boys team with only two losses now have a week off, before heading to Galt on Friday night to play the Grundy County Panthers.

The Mercer boys, like the girls, travel to Grundy R-5 on Friday night, with a visit from Linn County in the Cardinals homecoming games at Mercer scheduled for Saturday night. Next week, Mercer is in the Meadville Tournament, where the Lady Cardinals are the #1 seed, with the Cardinals seeded third.
