Missouri’s quarterback, Brady Cook, earned SEC Co-Offensive Player of the Week following the team’s 33-31 victory over Florida. Cook completed 20-of-34 passes for 331 yards and a touchdown, along with a 1-yard rushing touchdown and 11 rushing yards. During the game-winning drive, Cook made key passes, including a crucial 27-yard completion on fourth-and-17 to Luther Burden III.

Harrison Mevis, Mizzou’s kicker, received SEC Special Teams Player of the Week for going 4-for-4 on field goals and 3-for-3 on extra points in the same game. Mevis also earned this honor earlier in the season after a record-setting 61-yard field goal.

Xavier Delgado, the left guard, was named SEC Offensive Lineman of the Week. Delgado played a crucial role in the offensive line’s success, not allowing a sack against Florida. He is considered a significant contributor to the team’s improved offensive performance.

Mizzou provided an injury update for several players ahead of the upcoming game against Arkansas. Linebackers Ty’Ron Hopper and Chuck Hicks, cornerback Ennis Rakestraw Jr., and tight end Brett Norfleet are all questionable. The injuries to Hopper and Hicks are particularly notable as the team is already without linebacker Chad Bailey for the remainder of the season.

Luther Burden III, Mizzou’s wide receiver, was named a semifinalist for the Biletnikoff Award, recognizing the nation’s most outstanding receiver. Burden’s impressive season includes 77 receptions, 1,142 receiving yards, and eight touchdowns.

Kevin Peoples, Mizzou’s defensive line and edge coach, was named a semifinalist for the Broyles Award, presented to the nation’s top assistant coach. Peoples has been credited for his role in the success of Mizzou’s defensive line.

Defensive lineman Darius Robinson and cornerback Kris Abrams-Draine have accepted invitations to play in the 2024 Reese’s Senior Bowl. Robinson, leading the team with 7½ sacks and 11½ tackles for loss, aims to follow the success of former teammate Isaiah McGuire. Abrams-Draine, who leads Mizzou and ranks third in the country with four interceptions, sees the Senior Bowl as an opportunity to boost his draft stock.

Cornerback Ennis Rakestraw Jr. also announced on social media that he was invited to play in the Reese’s Senior Bowl and the East-West Shrine Bowl.
