Mizzou softball announces eight signings, including Norborne’s McKinney

Norborne High School’s Sydney McKinney has signed with the softball program at the University of Missouri, joining seven other student-athletes from across the country in pledging to MU Head Coach Ehren Earleywine.  

Two Columbia natives signed with their home-city university, in Alexis Burks and Caitlin Fogue, along with Danielle Garrison of Missouri City, Texas; Miah Mitchell of Chester, Illinois; Emma Raabe of Omaha, Nebraska; Jazmyn Rollin of Salt Lake City, Utah; and Geana Torres of Rochester, New Hampshire.

Other area athletes signing with college athletic programs last week were Lathrop High School senior outfielder Jacque Gentzell, with the softball program at Lincoln University in Jefferson City, and Gallatin High School senior Jett Simmons, with the golf program at Missouri Western State University in St. Joseph.
