Mizzou women’s hoops finalize non-conference schedule

The University of Missouri women’s basketball program will see border rival Illinois, in addition to matchups with in-state foes St. Louis and Missouri State, in the 2021-2022 season, with the non-conference slate of games announced last week.

Coach Robin Pingeton and company will open play in exhibition action against Lindenwood and Southwest Baptist in early November, before the regular season opener against Murray State at Mizzou Arena on November 11th.

Both the game against St. Louis University (November 17th) and Missouri State University (December 10th) will be played on the road for MU, in addition to road games against Columbia on November 27th and either Rider or Lehigh the following day, as part of the Christmas City Classic, a game at Baylor on December 5th, and the contest in Champaign against Illinois on December 22nd.

Coming to Columbia to play the Tigers will be Morgan State on November 14th, Idaho State a week later, Troy on November 23rd, Southern Illinois-Edwardsville on December 2nd, Alabama A&M on December 12th, and Southern on December 20th.

Specific dates, times, locations, and opponents for the Southeastern Conference portion of the schedule are yet to be announced.
