Senior Madi Schnatz from Lathrop High School is the most recent player to sign a national letter of intent to play softball at North Central Missouri College.

Schnatz has been a key cog in a Lady Mules team that has reached the Class 2 “Final Four” for three consecutive years, including a state championship won in 2015 (4th place in 2016 and 3rd place this year).  As an infielder at LHS, Madi is a two-time first-team All-KCI Conference honoree, and is also a two-time all-district selection.  Off the field Madi participated in Student Council, FCA, and with a Lady Mules basketball program that was district runner-up in 2016-2017.

Lady Pirate Head Coach Steve Richman is excited to add Schnatz to the North Central roster, saying, “Madi is a great softball player from a very good program.  She had played in several big games, competing in the final four 3 of her 4 high school years.  She will bring a winning mentality to our program and is a very good middle infielder.  She also brings high character to us as she has been involved in numerous organizations throughout high school.  We are excited to have her be part of “Pirate Mation” next year.”
