NCMC Lady Pirates add St. Joseph sharpshooter to 2017 recruiting haul

The Lady Pirates basketball program at North Central Missouri College has officially announced the addition of St. Joseph Lafayette High School senior Maddie Book to the women’s basketball roster at NCMC for the 2017-18 season.

Book scored 847 points in her four years with the Fighting Irish program, with steady numbers ranging from a low of 7.5 points per game as a junior, to a high of 9.8 points per game as a senior.  Maddie earned both All-Midland Empire Conference and all-district honors for Lafayette.

Lady Pirate Head Coach Jenni Croy commented on the signing that Book will “bring a winner’s mentality to the NCMC program, having come from a very successful high school program, adding an outstanding work ethic and great court awareness to the Lady Pirates.  She is an outstanding shooters and can defend the perimeter well.”
