NCMC Pirates sign two baseball prospects

NCMC Baseball

NCMC Baseball has signed their first two recruits for the 2017 class.  Brandon Whitehead from Hillsboro, MO and Tyler Kaikkonen from Festus, MO will be toeing the rubber next fall for the Pirates.

“Tyler has a very live arm that we believe will continue to develop nicely in our program,” commented NCMC Head Coach Donnie Hillerman.  “Brandon has shown good polish as a pitcher for Hillsboro and his ability to attack the strike zone with multiple pitches should play well for us,” coach Hillerman stated about Whitehead.  Both players have also competed well on a regional stage for the St. Louis Recruits travel team.

In addition to these players athletic prowess, both have excelled in the classroom and are leaders in their schools.  “We not only want to bring in players with a high level of athletic ability but want to ensure that the team culture we build is a benefit to the campus and community.  Both Tyler and Brandon look to fit that mold,” remarked Hillerman.
