NCMC women add Chillicothe sharp-shooter to recruiting class

Women's Basketball

North Central Missouri College women’s basketball coach Jenni Croy has added one of the top outside shooters in the area to the Lady Pirates roster for 2020-2021, with the signing of Chillicothe High School graduate Jordan Hibner to the North Central roster.

With size expected to be a strength of the Lady PirView Postates next season, notably with the return of sophomore Kennedie Kieffer to the post, Coach Croy adds Hibner, Kieffer’s high school teammate, to help balance the floor.

Hibner, coached at the high school ranks by Darren Smith, helped lead the Lady Hornets to a district championship and a berth in the Class 3 state sectional round in her senior season, finishing her Chillicothe career as the program record holder in three point shots made, both in a season and in a career.

In related news, Putnam County High School graduate Hayden Halley will be continuing his basketball career at the NAIA level.  Halley has signed a letter of intent to play at Culver-Stockton College, a Heart of America institution in Canton, Missouri.  Hayden is the son of long-time Putnam County administrator Heath Halley.
