It is the first time this season, and something that the football program at Pattonsburg High School would rather not get accustomed for the rest of the 2018 campaign.
On Friday night, the GRC West traditional power Stanberry Bulldogs wore down the Panthers in handing Pattonsburg (4-1) their first loss of the year both overall, and in conference play. This week, the Panthers look to rebound and attempt to stay in first place in district standings, with a non-conference test against the Norborne (with Hardin-Central) Pirates, in the annual homecoming game at PHS.
