Hopes are high for successful football and softball seasons at Princeton High School, with the Lady Tigers coming off of a postseason appearance and district championship in 2019, while the Tiger football team has a big senior class providing talent and leadership for a program that earned a share of the GRC title last year.

The seasons are fast approaching, with the Tiger football squad hosting state-ranked Mid-Buchanan this Friday night at 7 o’clock to kick off the 2020 campaign, while the Lady Tigers jump into the season on Saturday morning, with a trip to Albany for a 10 o’clock first pitch, followed by a lengthy excursion to Schuyler County on Monday afternoon, and a big-game against Class 1 state power Maysville in the GRC opener Tuesday at 5:30 at Gerald Gentry Field.

Every Wednesday evening, starting at 5:35, KTTN Sports Director Tom Johnson will speak with softball coach Heather Hall and football coach Nathan Powell with updates of the Tiger teams, starting Wednesday, August 26th.

Here are the first editions of the shows for the 2020 season!

“The Heather Hall Show” (Princeton Lady Tiger softball)

“The Nathan Powell Show” (Princeton Tiger football)

The first KTTN broadcasts for Princeton this season will be the football trip to Cass-Midway High School on Friday, September 4th at 7 o’clock and the softball GRC test at Trenton on Tuesday, September 8th at 5:30.
