The Trenton Bulldogs outshot the Penney Hornets by a score of 204 to 220 to win a Tuesday afternoon head-to-head boy’s golf battle at Riverside Country Club.

Trenton High School freshman Kiefer Tolson earned medalist honors with a nine-hole score of 43, with Penney’s Clay Finch putting up the second-best score of the day, shooting 49.

Scores in the 50s included Trenton’s Riley Gott at 52, Trenton’s Jake Schmadeke at 54, Trenton’s Hunter Ledgerwood at 55, Penney’s Riley Henderson at 56, Penney’s Nate Wyckoff at 57, Penney’s Austin Snow at 58, and Penney’s Corbin Henderson with a 59.

Bo Meeker of THS shot a nine-hole score of 64, with Justin Hall, representing the Bulldog JV, shooting 68.

For the Penney JV, Eli Anderson shot 62, Caleb Schweder 64, and Silas Prothero 67.
