Trenton girls tennis preparing for ’16 season, with good experience returning

Bobbie Hainey enters her second season as girl’s tennis coach at Trenton High School with a team filled with good experience, looking to increase its competition level against some the MEC titans that they will see during the season like Chillicothe and Savannah.

Wednesday morning represented the first full practice for the Lady Bulldogs, after the first two attempts had been shortened by rain.

Coach Hainey was interviewed after the team’s third practice of the season by Sports Director Tom Johnson:

Trenton opens the tennis season with a home match with Carrollton on Tuesday, August 23rd. The first road test is two nights later at Savannah. Regular season tournaments involving Trenton will be played at Chillicothe, St. Joseph Benton, and Cameron. Districts are scheduled for Monday, September 26th at Cameron.
