The Trenton Lady Bulldogs traveled to Unionville on Monday afternoon for a girls golf duel with GRC Eastern Division rival Putnam County, with THS grabbing victory, shooting a 201 to outdistance the Lady Midgets team score of 230.
Medalist honors went to Trenton’s Jordain Oshel, with a nine-hole total of 47. Two other Trenton scores were better than Putnam County’s top round, as Kaitlyn Mounce shot 48 and Hannah Kennebeck 51 for Trenton. Oshel and Mounce were tied at 44 going into the ninth hole, with Oshel’s score of 3 tipping Mounce, who shot a 4.
Putnam County’s best score, a 53, came in from Jasmine Lorence. Trenton’s Lana Raymo shot 55 and Werthen Gass 57. For the Lady Midgets, Brianna Vice had 56, Daysha Caley 59, Molly Parker 62, and Whitney Neighbors 64.
For the Trenton JV, Maci Henson put up an outstanding score, a 16 over par 51. Oakley Madden shot 61.
