Young MU receiver to transfer

Undoubtedly the result of lack of playing time and position on the team’s depth chart, University of Missouri wide receiver Khmari Thompson has announced his move into the NCAA’s transfer portal.

Thompson, a product of Lawrenceville, Georgia, was a three-star recruit for then-Head Coach Barry Odom in 2017, choosing Mizzou over Kansas State and Purdue.

He spent a redshirt season with the Tigers in 2018, after appearing in three early games.  In 2019, Odom’s last season on the Missouri sideline, Thompson never saw the field.  He, in the spring, joined the Missouri track and field squad.
