Mizzou senior and Mercer native Sierra Michaelis scored a game-high 23 points, leading the Tigers past Tennessee-Martin 80-69 on an icy Saturday afternoon in Columbia.
Michaelis, the reigning SEC Co-Player of the Week, has now reached the 20 point mark in two of her last three outings. She hit 5 three-point shots, moving into third all-time in program history with 143 such made shots in her 3-plus year career.
Sophie Cunningham stuffed the stat sheet for MU with 21 points, six boards and three assists, while Cierra Porter had 19 points and 14 rebounds for her fifth double-double of the season. Senior guard Lindsey Cunningham added 13 points, five rebounds, and two assists in the win.
