Trenton’s Pajak competes in world championship boxing event

Boxing
Aryn Pajak, representing the Trenton Boxing Club, competed in the 17th annual Ringside World Championships on Tuesday, July 25th through Saturday, July 29th.  Every U.S. state and 18 countries total were represented in the event.
Pajak, fighting in the boys age 9 and 10, 70 pound division, advanced to the quarterfinal round, but lost a split decision to D.J. Demenjaro of Lincoln, Nebraska.  The Trenton youth leaves the tournament ranked #11 in the U.S. and #13 in the world, a tremendous accomplishment for a boy who started work to the TBC in March of this year.
The World Championships served as the conclusion of the 2017 summer season for the Trenton Boxing Club.  Coach Rocky Dunkin reports the TBC members will have two weeks off and be back in the gym on Sunday, August 13th to prepare for a show on Saturday, August 19th in the West Bottoms of Kansas City.
