Ten schools will make up the Class 1, District 6 softball tournament, with Braymer High School hosting the four day event, starting with a pair of first-round games on Thursday, October 12th. Braymer has the #1 seed, and will join Schuyler County, Grundy R-V, Novinger, Meadville, and Green City in receiving byes into Friday’s quarterfinal round.
In Thursday’s opening round, #8 seed Tina-Avalon will play Bucklin/Macon County at 5 o’clock, with #7 seed Linn County taking on Hale at 6:30.
The quarterfinals are slated for Friday, October 13th, with #1 seed Braymer playing at 2 o’clock against the Tina-Avalon/BMC winner. At 3:30, the #4 seed Novinger Lady Wildcats take on Meadville. In the 5 o’clock contest, #2 seed Schuyler County will take on the Linn County/Hale survivor, with Grundy R-V playing #6 seed Green City at 6:30 on Friday night.
The semifinals will be played on Saturday, October 14th at 1 o’clock and 2:30, with the Class 1, District 6 championship game on Monday, October 16th at 5:30.
