Chiefs bring Lombardi Trophy to Missouri Capitol in public celebration

The Kansas City Chiefs are embarking on a victory lap as part of the Chiefs Champions Tour, bringing the Super Bowl 57 Lombardi Trophy to various locations in Chiefs Kingdom for fans to see and take pictures with. The tour includes stops in Missouri, Nebraska, Kansas, and Iowa, with the Missouri State Capitol being one of the latest destinations.

Missouri Governor Mike Parson, a lifelong Chiefs fan, celebrated the occasion in his office before the ceremony. He expressed his excitement and pride as the governor of Missouri to have the Super Bowl trophy in his office, emphasizing the positive impact of sports championships on the state’s economy. Winning a Super Bowl brings attention, tourism, and economic benefits to the team and the state as a whole.

Fans attending the event had the opportunity to take pictures with the coveted Lombardi Trophy. They shared their personal stories and experiences as longtime members of Chiefs Kingdom. The joy of witnessing the team’s success and the pride of being able to support the Chiefs throughout the years were evident among the fans.

The trophy will be on display at the Missouri State Capitol on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the first-floor rotunda. The event is free and open to the public, providing an opportunity for more fans to share in the celebration.

The Chiefs Champions Tour will continue through September, offering fans across the region a chance to connect with the team’s success.
