The Gilman City softball team is showing progress in its level of play early in the 2018 season, however, a meeting with the HDC Conference’s top team, the North Harrison Lady Shamrocks, did result in a four-inning run-rule loss last week for Coach Holly Preston’s team. With a new week and improved weather for both practice and games, Gilman City will play rival Tri-County to begin its week, followed by the HDC Conference Tournament on Saturday in Eagleville.
