Gilman City Ladyhawks coaches show for Tuesday, September 25th

High School Football

The Gilman City girls are showing improvement from a year ago, but still battling consistency, in the middle of the 2018 season.  Of late, the Ladyhawks have struggled with rival Tri-County, falling to the Lady Mustangs 14-1 on Thursday, September 13th and 11-1 in the semifinals of the HDC Tournament in Eagleville two days later.  Gilman City finished fourth in the tournament with a 17-5 defeat to East Harrison on Saturday evening, although in the opening round, Gilman was sharp with a 11-1 win over Winston.

While the loss to East Harrison on Saturday undoubtedly stung the Ladyhawks, Gilman City gets another chance at the Bobcats, playing in Cainsville on Thursday night.
