Grad transfer Jonathan Nance commits to Missouri, leaving Arkansas

The Missouri Tigers have gained a wide receiver from the transfer market, as former Arkansas Razorback Jonathan Nance, on Tuesday night, announced his commitment to transfer from Fayetteville to Columbia.

Nance, a native of Gulfport, Mississippi, started the first four games of this season for Arkansas, but only had one catch.  A season ago, he had 37 catches for 539 yards and five touchdowns.

Coming out of high school, Nance played junior college football at Mississippi Gulf Coast for two seasons before inking with the SEC’s Razorbacks and then-head coach Bret Bielema.

Nance’s announcement completed a very productive Tuesday evening for the Tigers and Coach Barry Odom, who learned of the commitment of former Clemson quarterback Kelly Bryant just minutes prior to Nance’s announcement.
