The Gilman City Hawks grabbed victories over the rival Tri-County Mustangs in Monday night’s quarterfinals of the Gilman City Tournament, with the Ladyhawks winning 54-40, with the boys game going the way of the Hawks, 83-64.
The Pattonsburg Panthers won the other contests from the Gilman gym, with the Lady Panthers victorious 60-47 over Union Star, with the Panther boys defeating Union Star 68-37.
On Tuesday night, the quarterfinals continue with the St. Joseph Christian girls at 4:30, followed by the Princeton boys playing East Harrison at 5:45, Princeton girls opposite North Harrison at 7, and the North Harrison boys playing St. Joseph Christian at 8:15
