Marceline, Hamilton, Polo, all 3-0, all remain ranked in Class 1

High School Football

A 7-0 victory in the Bell Game keeps Marceline steady in this week’s Class 1 high school football media poll, with the Tigers ranked #2 in Class 1. However the loss, Brookfield’s first to their Linn County rival in seven years, drops the Bulldogs three spots in Class 2.  A decisive victory by #1 Maryville over Chillicothe on Friday night strengthened the Spoofhounds hold on the top spot in Class 3, sending the Hornets tumbling out of the rankings (Chillicothe was #10 a week ago).
