The Missouri Tigers, on Wednesday morning, received the program’s second verbal commitment from a prep wide receiver in the Class of 2022, as Blue Valley North High School junior Mekhi Miller, via Twitter, committed to Coach Eliah Drinkwitz and MU.

Miller is considered a three-star recruit by Rivals, while 247Sports has yet to give him a grade.  He chose Missouri over offers from Kansas, Nebraska, Cal, Tennessee, and Iowa.

Tiger defensive line coach Brick Haley is leaving the Missouri program, news first reported by PowerMizzou.  Haley will be the second assistant coach to leave, following the departure of defensive coordinator Ryan Walters, who departed earlier this month to take the same position with Bret Bielema’s job of rebuilding Illinois.

Haley’s defensive line had slumped in the past two years, recording 27 sacks in 2018, 19 in 2019, and just 19 in 2020, four seasons after a 33 sack performance in Coach Haley’s first year with the program.
