Mizzou’s Frazier breaks arm in spring scrimmage, Williams to transfer

University of Missouri defensive end Marcell Frazier will miss the remainder of spring practice after breaking his right arm in Saturday’s scrimmage, according to Head Coach Barry Odom.  The break in the radius will sideline the Portland, Oregon native until June.  He underwent surgery on Tuesday.

Frazier had 7 1/2 sacks and 33 tackles in the 2016 season at MU.

Another defensive end on the Tiger roster, Spencer Williams, will transfer from Mizzou, hoping to play at a lower-level program closer to his home in Jacksonville, Florida.  Williams would have been a redshirt junior this fall at Missouri.  He made five starts in 2016.
