The Southeastern Conference, on Tuesday morning, designated both television selections and kickoff times for the first three weeks of the 2016 football season.  The first two home games for Missouri, and new coach Barry Odom, have been set for 6:30 PM kickoffs at Faurot Field in Columbia.

Mizzou will host the Eastern Michigan Eagles on Saturday, September 10th in the 2016 home opener, followed by a visit from the SEC East rival Georgia Bulldogs in the SEC opener one week later, on September 17th.

The Eastern Michigan game will be televised on the SEC Network’s Alternate Channel, while the contest against the Bulldogs will air on the SEC Network.  Coverage on the Tiger Radio Network, and local affiliate KTTN FM 92.3, is expected to start at 4:30 PM for both contests.

Recently, two other kickoff times and television designations had been announced for Mizzou, as the Tigers season opener at West Virginia will kick at 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 3rd (9:00 AM KTTN-FM pregame) on Fox Sports 1.  The Friday, November 25th regular season finale, in Columbia against the Arkansas Razorbacks, will kick at 1:30 PM (11:30 AM pregame on KTTN-FM) on CBS.

All remaining games in 2016 will have kickoff and television designations determined on a 12-day advance notice, with the potential for some 6-day notices to be used by the SEC and its television partners.
