One more step : Gordon’s rehab goes to Omaha, and not KC….yet

MLB

The Kansas City Royals, instead of recalling outfielder Alex Gordon from his injury rehab assignment at Class AA Northwest Arkansas, are instead sending the three-time All-Star to Class AAA Omaha.

Gordon broke his right wrist in a collision with teammate Mike Moustakas on May 23rd in Chicago.  The 32-year old, in four games with the Naturals, went 5-for-15 with a double, homer, and three runs scored.  His time in Omaha will start tonight (Thursday night), when the Storm Chasers host New Orleans at 7:05.
