Royals announce three exhibition games; will play Astros, Cardinals

The Kansas City Royals have announced two home games with Houston and a road trip to St. Louis from Monday, July 20th to Wednesday, July 22nd, in preparation for the 2020 regular season.

The Houston Astros will travel to Kauffman Stadium for a pair of exhibition games at 7:05 PM on Monday, July 20th and 1:05 PM on Tuesday, July 21st.  For the first time since 2001, the Royals will play the cross-state rival Cardinals in an exhibition meeting, scheduled for 3:05 PM on Wednesday, July 22nd at Busch Stadium.

All three games will be aired on KTTN AM 1600, with the Monday night game simulcast on KTTN FM 92.3, and televised on Fox Sports Kansas City.

The Royals season opener will be 6:10 PM at Progressive Field in Cleveland against the AL Central rival Indians, with coverage starting at 5:30 on KTTN AM 1600 and KTTN FM 92.3.
