State champion Maysville places four players, Princeton two, on All-Region 4 first team

On Saturday afternoon, the Maysville Lady Wolverines celebrated a second Class 1 state softball championship this decade, with a championship-winning 8th inning home run.  In postseason awards, Maysville cleaned up with four first-team selections in Class 1, Region 4.  Named from the state champs are senior infielder Cat Whiteman, freshman outfielder Rylie Boyer, sophomore pitcher Sadie Smith, and freshman catcher Ashley Brown.

Princeton had two selections on the first team All-Region squad in junior infielder Lindsey Batson and junior outfielder Lacie Lewis.
