State football poll released, state-ranked East Buchanan travels to Trenton on Friday

The high school football media poll heading into the second week of the regular season has been announced, with East Buchanan, coming off of a dominant victory at South Harrison last week, ranked #8 in Class 1, with a trip to Trenton’s C.F. Russell Stadium to play the Bulldogs on Friday night (KGOZ FM 101.7).  Penney High School of Hamilton is ranked #6, and Marceline receiving nine votes and GRC pre-season favorite Gallatin three votes in the Class 1 poll.  Gallatin will play at Penney this week in a highly-anticipated matchup between the long-time “Highway 13” rivals.
