Titans strengthen receiving corps with signing of DeAndre Hopkins

NFL

The Tennessee Titans have addressed their need at wide receiver by agreeing to terms with DeAndre Hopkins on a two-year deal worth $26 million, with incentives that could push the total value to $32 million. Hopkins, a three-time All-Pro receiver, visited the Titans after being released by the Arizona Cardinals in May.

The deal is expected to bring much-needed experience to Tennessee’s young receiving group, as Hopkins has had a successful career with over 11,000 receiving yards and 145 games played.

He will join a Titans team led by quarterback Ryan Tannehill and running back Derrick Henry. This signing comes after the Titans’ previous acquisition of Julio Jones, which did not work out as expected due to injuries.

The Titans hope that Hopkins can provide a reliable target for Tannehill and contribute to their offensive success in the upcoming season.
