The Trenton Boxing Club had a very successful weekend, sending three fighters to competition in Arnold, Missouri, returning home Sunday with three championships earned.
Owen Brown and Faith Baker both won their respective age and weight divisions in the Junior Olympic Regional tournament held just outside of St.Louis.  The tournament consisted of teams from Missouri, Nebraska, Arkansas, Oklahoma and Kansas.  By virtue of their weekend success, Brown and Baker will join the Region 7 champions and head to nationals in Charleston, West Virginia in the middle of June.
The other Trenton boxer that was active this weekend was 8-year old, 65 pound Aryn Pajak, who won a 3 round unanimous decision over Edward Lira from Wichita in Kansas City’s West Bottoms.
The Trenton Boxing Club will next be in action Wednesday, May 31st through Sunday, June 4th, traveling to Colorado Springs, Colorado for the Pikes Peak National Championships.
The club is seeking financial assistance to help with future travel expenses to Colorado and West Virginia.  Contributions, tax-deductible in nature, can be made.  The club is also selling candy bars in fundraising efforts.  More information is available from Rocky Dunkin (stop by Dunkin’s Liquidation Store).
