Trenton boys go 2-3 at Saturday’s Crossroads Duals

The Trenton Bulldog boys won two duals and fell short in three others at Saturday’s Crossroad Dual Tournament at Cameron High School.  Head coach Charlie Bacon said his team competed short-handed, with four members of the regular starting lineup staying home due to illness.  Bacon said younger guys did well in “filling holes in the lineup”, receiving good experience against much bigger schools.

Trenton beat Park Hill 60-18 and defeated Savannah 39-24.  Trenton’s three losses were to Mexico 57-18, Cameron 63-15, and Sullivan 40-30.

Trenton’s Sam Gibson and Caleb Johnson were undefeated on the day.  Kaden Owen was 4-1, with Johnson picking up his 100th career victory.
