For the Trenton JV, Noah Lewis went 2-0 with 2 pins.  At 220 pounds, Okla Fitzpatrick went 1-1 with 1 pin.  At heavyweight, Jarvis Collis went 0-3.

Coach Charlie Bacon, in comments provided to the PAR Broadcast Group, said, “We saw a lot of positive things from our kids tonight, especially in the first 2 duals. We came out strong against a tough Mid Buch team and only lost two matches. We ended the night with a very tough class 2 Cameron team. We had a few matches that we should’ve wrestled a little better but it was a really good learning experience for some of our kids and let us know what we need to work on. Drew Rorebeck and Ty Sayre both went undefeated on the night and looked very sharp. Cole Little pinned 2 very good heavy weights tonight. We also had kids like Mark Trump, Noah Lewis and Okla Fitzpatrick get their very first high school wins, which is a very memorable thing.”

Trenton will next be in action on Saturday morning, traveling to Marceline for the Marceline Tournament, starting at 9 o’clock in the morning.
