Coach Bacon commented from Higginsville, “A pretty good night. I think Higginsville was very beatable but we just didn’t get the pins we needed to finish the dual the way I would have liked. I thought our kids all gave it 100%, just had too many open spots in the lineup to compensate for. Brice Gibler had a really good match and controlled the whole thing to get a major decision. Kaden Owen also had a good match up at 152, eventually getting the pin. Noah Lewis also came out strong and wrestled a good match against a district opponent. Noah scored a lot of points, but just couldn’t secure the pin. Jadan Whitney was our last win at 195, picking up a much needed pin!”
