Trenton’s Croy shoots 34, wins medalist honors at Bulldogs Senior Night dual with Princeton

Trenton High School senior Lathan Croy shot an even-par score of 34 on Wednesday afternoon, 11 strokes better than anybody else on the Riverside Country Club links, as Trenton beat Princeton in head-to-head team competition, 184 to 224.  It was “Senior Night” for the Bulldogs, as Trenton hosted its final golf competition of the 2018 regular season.

Croy’s 9-hole round included a birdie on the par-4 second hole, a bogey on the par-4 9th, and seven pars.  Trenton’s Mason Owen put up the second best score of the day, with a round of 45.  Lucas Clark of the host Bulldogs shot 52.

Princeton’s top score of 53, turned in by senior Blaine Millburn, was matched with a 53 by Trenton’s Gavin Roeder, wile Max McNabb of THS shot 54.  Princeton’s Brian Cox was at 55, with Blaze Siemer at 57, Ethan Glenn 59, and Ben Berwanger 63.

Junior varsity scores from Wednesday were 57 for Trenton’s Carson Radcliff and Princeton’s Aaron Mogler, 61 for Brycin Loyd and 62 from Patrick Behen (both of Trenton), and 65 from Princeton’s Brayden Summers.
