Chillicothe hosts “Fore the Kids Golf Tournament” to benefit area youth

The BTC Area Youth Benefit Corporation will host the Fore the Kids Golf Tournament, presented by Copeland Development and Construction Company, Incorporated, at the Green Hills Golf Course in Chillicothe on June 28 and 29.

The event will commence on Friday with an adult championship, featuring a 9 a.m. shotgun start. The championship will be a two-person scramble, with an entry fee of $100 per player.

On Saturday, an invite-only junior and adult championship will be held with shotgun starts at 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. This event will also be a two-person scramble, with junior teams consisting of players aged seven to 17 and adult teams. The entry fee for the junior and adult championships will be $60 per team.

Player fees for all events include a golf cart, green fees, lunch, snacks, a player gift, and unlimited beverages.

A raffle contest organized by Kramer Contracting Company will offer a grand prize of $10,000. Two hundred fifty tickets will be sold at $100 each.

Various sponsorship levels are available for those interested in supporting the Fore the Kids Golf Tournament.

Since its founding in 2013, the BTC Area Youth Benefit Corporation has donated over $300,000 to local schools, teams, clubs, and individuals. Beneficiaries include FFA, 4-H, agricultural youth organizations, youth athletics, fine arts, community youth programs, and scholarships. The BTC Area Youth Benefit Corporation is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organization.
