Everblades roar back in final period to stun Kansas City 6-3

The Florida Everblades rallied from a 3-1 deficit to defeat the Kansas City Mavericks in Game 3 of the Kelly Cup Finals on Wednesday night at Hertz Arena in Estero, Florida.

Oliver Chau’s third-period hat trick led the comeback, with Logan Lambdin scoring twice and Mark Senden adding a goal.  The Everblades now lead the series 2-1, with Game 4 scheduled for Friday night.



A crowd of 7,107 played a significant role in the comeback, with Chau and coach Brad Ralph praising their energy and support.  The Everblades’ offensive explosion in the third period overwhelmed the Mavericks, with Chau’s goals coming in a span of 2:30.  Lambdin’s second goal was an empty-netter, sealing the win.
