Georgia avoids Mizzou stumble with fourth-quarter rally, winning 26-22

Number one ranked Georgia scored the final 14 points of regulation to grab a come-from-behind 26-22 victory over the Missouri Tigers on Saturday night at Faurot Field in Columbia.

Georgia trailed the entire game until taking the lead by four points with a two-yard touchdown run and successful PAT with 4:03 remaining in the game.

Missouri head coach Eli Drinkwitz spoke with Chris Gervino of the Tiger Radio Network after the contest: 

Missouri’s Harrison Mevis was five for five on field goal attempts.  Mevis connected from 41, 49, 22, 52, and 56 yards. 

Missouri’s only touchdown came on a 10 yard pass from Brady Cook to Tyler Stephens in the second quarter.  Mike Kelly had the call on the Tiger Radio Network: 

Georgia had just two touchdowns, both in the fourth quarter.  Jack Podlesny was four for four on field goal attempts, hitting from 41, 34, 29, and 29 yards.
