GRC announces baseball postseason honors

The Grand River Conference has announced first-team, second-team and honorable mention selections for the 2024 baseball season.  

Ten players were named first-team selections, with nine in unanimous fashion, identified as Polo’s Maverick Gentry and Gage Gilbert; Maysville’s Max Heintz, Dillon Willis, and Coy Sobotka; Milan’s Keaton Weter; and Putnam County’s Reise Brundage, Mason Morris, and Kooper Hornaday.  The final selection was Putnam County’s Brock Munden.

Four members of the Trenton Bulldogs were named All-GRC second-team picks, in Camden Skipper, Mason Rongey, Brayden Wiggins, and Logan Wilson.  Other GRC second-teamers are South Harrison’s Isaac Williams and Briar Hudlemeyer, Maysville’s Parker Sollars and Gavin Kennedy; and Putnam County’s Michael Christian and Luke Aguilar.

Six players received GRC honorable mention status, in South Harrison’s Hayden Cox, Maysville’s Kris Gabbard and Carson Bray, Milan’s Ethan Bennett and Hunter Reed, and Putnam County’s Trace Halley.
